Complaints and Appeals Policy

The Global Journal of Dental Specialty (GJDS) is committed to ensuring a fair, transparent, and impartial editorial process. The journal provides authors, reviewers, readers, and other stakeholders with the opportunity to submit complaints or appeals regarding editorial decisions, peer review, publication ethics, or journal procedures.

Complaints and appeals must be submitted in writing with sufficient supporting information. The Editorial Office will acknowledge receipt, conduct an impartial investigation, and, where appropriate, consult the Editor-in-Chief or independent Editorial Board members who were not involved in the original decision. Appeals against editorial decisions should clearly explain the reasons for reconsideration and include any relevant supporting evidence.

The journal handles all complaints and appeals confidentially and in accordance with the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). Where necessary, appropriate corrective actions will be taken. The decision reached after the completion of the review process shall be considered final.
