The Global Journal of Dental Specialty (GJDS) is committed to safeguarding the integrity of the scholarly record and takes all allegations of research and publication misconduct seriously. The journal follows the guidance and COPE Flowcharts for investigating and resolving ethical concerns in a fair, confidential, and transparent manner.
Authors are expected to carefully read and comply with the journal's Author Instructions, Publication Ethics Policy, and all ethical requirements before submitting a manuscript. By submitting their work, authors confirm that the research is original, ethically conducted, and complies with the journal's editorial policies.
Allegations of misconduct—including plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication or falsification, image manipulation, authorship disputes, citation manipulation, undisclosed conflicts of interest, unethical research practices, and other forms of publication misconduct—may be raised before or after publication. The Editorial Office will investigate all concerns in accordance with COPE recommendations, and authors may be asked to provide original data, supporting documents, or explanations during the investigation.
Where misconduct is confirmed, the journal may take appropriate editorial actions, including manuscript rejection, publication of corrections, expressions of concern, retractions, notification of authors' institutions or funding bodies, and other measures deemed necessary to protect the integrity of the scientific record.
For guidance on publication ethics and misconduct investigations, the journal follows the COPE Flowcharts and Ethical Guidelines available at https://publicationethics.org/guidance. By adhering to these internationally recognized standards, the journal promotes responsible research conduct, transparency, and ethical scholarly publishing.
