Plagiarism Screening Policy

The Global Journal of Dental Specialty (GJDS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and originality in scholarly publishing. To prevent plagiarism and ensure the authenticity of submitted work, the journal screens all manuscripts using Turnitin before they proceed to peer review.

Authors are required to submit a Turnitin Similarity Report along with their manuscript at the time of submission. The Editorial Office independently reviews the similarity report to identify potential instances of plagiarism, duplicate publication, self-plagiarism, or inappropriate text overlap. Manuscripts with unacceptable similarity or evidence of academic misconduct may be returned for revision, rejected, or investigated in accordance with the journal's ethical policies and the recommendations of COPE and ICMJE.

The journal reserves the right to conduct additional plagiarism checks at any stage of the editorial or publication process. By implementing a rigorous plagiarism screening procedure, the journal ensures the originality, credibility, and integrity of all published research.
