The Global Journal of Dental Specialty (GJDS) is committed to promoting transparency, reliability, and reproducibility in scientific research. The journal encourages authors to make the data, materials, and methods supporting their research available whenever possible to facilitate verification and future research. We believe that research data citation through standard reference lists provides a simple and effective means of accessing data and supporting reproducible research.
Authors are encouraged to deposit research data in recognized repositories, cite datasets in the reference list using accepted citation standards, and include a Data Availability Statement in their manuscripts. Where data cannot be shared due to ethical, legal, or confidentiality restrictions, authors should clearly explain the reasons.
Editors and reviewers may request access to supporting data during the editorial process to verify the validity of the reported findings. By encouraging responsible data sharing and proper data citation, the journal aims to enhance the transparency, reproducibility, and long-term value of published research.
