Conflicts of Interest Policy

The Global Journal of Dental Specialty (GJDS) is committed to ensuring transparency, objectivity, and integrity throughout the publication process. The journal follows the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) regarding the disclosure and management of conflicts of interest.

Authors, reviewers, editors, and editorial board members must disclose any financial, personal, institutional, academic, or professional relationships that could influence, or reasonably be perceived to influence, the conduct, review, or publication of a manuscript. Sources of funding and the role of sponsors in the research should also be clearly stated.

Reviewers and editors who have a conflict of interest with a submitted manuscript must recuse themselves from the evaluation and decision-making process. Where necessary, the journal may request additional disclosures or take appropriate measures to manage identified conflicts.

Failure to disclose relevant conflicts of interest may result in editorial actions, including manuscript rejection, publication of a correction, or retraction, in accordance with COPE and ICMJE recommendations. By promoting full disclosure, the journal seeks to maintain fairness, transparency, and trust in scholarly publishing.
