The Global Journal of Dental Specialty (GJDS) is committed to maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the scholarly record. The journal follows the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) when handling post-publication corrections and retractions.
If significant errors, inaccuracies, or ethical concerns are identified after publication, the journal will investigate the matter and take appropriate action. Minor errors that do not affect the scientific conclusions may be corrected through a formal Correction (Erratum or Corrigendum). Where there is evidence of unreliable findings, research misconduct, plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, or other serious ethical violations, the journal may issue an Expression of Concern or Retract the article, as appropriate.
All corrections, expressions of concern, and retractions will be clearly identified, permanently linked to the original article, and published in a transparent manner to preserve the integrity of the scientific record. Authors are expected to promptly notify the Editorial Office if they discover significant errors in their published work and to cooperate fully in the correction process.
