Manuscript Submission

The Journal of Performance Management (JPM) welcomes original, high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in performance management, strategic management, information systems, financial services, business analytics, and related disciplines.

 

Authors are encouraged to ensure that their manuscripts comply with the journal’s submission requirements prior to submission.

 

Submission Requirements

Authors should submit the following documents:

 

  • Manuscript file (without author-identifying information for peer review)
  • Separate title page containing author details
  • Cover letter
  • Declaration of originality
  • Conflict of interest disclosure (if applicable)
  • Ethical approval documentation (where applicable)

 

Submission Process

Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s official online submission system or via the designated editorial email provided on the journal website.

 

Upon submission, authors will receive an acknowledgment confirming receipt of their manuscript.

 

Initial Assessment

All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening to assess:

 

  • Relevance to the journal’s aims and scope
  • Compliance with submission guidelines
  • Originality and scholarly contribution
  • Ethical and publication standards
  • Language quality and presentation

 

Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s basic requirements may be returned to authors or declined prior to peer review.

 

Peer Review

Eligible manuscripts proceed to the journal’s peer-review process in accordance with the journal’s Peer Review Policy. Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer and editorial feedback.

 

Author Responsibility

By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that:

 

  • The work is original and has not been published previously.
  • The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal.
  • All authors have approved the submission.
  • Appropriate ethical standards have been followed.
  • All sources have been properly cited and acknowledged.

 

Correspondence

All communication regarding manuscript status, revisions, and publication decisions will be directed to the corresponding author.

 

Reference Style

The Journal of Performance Management follows the MLA (9th Edition) Style for in-text citations and reference lists. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all citations and references are complete, accurate, and formatted according to the latest MLA guidelines.

Authors should ensure that every source cited within the manuscript appears in the Works Cited list and that all entries in the Works Cited list are cited in the text. The journal recommends the use of reference management software to ensure citation accuracy and consistency.
